I spotted this new range in Tesco at the same time I bought my water filter, and I was immediately drawn to the cute, girly packaging. I love anything with a retro feel like this and it seems I'm not the only one! With companies such as 'Soap and Glory' and 'Benefit' on the rise, and the newly emerging MAC range 'Archies Girls', I think the beauty world has gone retro gaga. AND I LOVE IT!
The range 'Along Came Betty' is relatively new at Tesco, and offers products such as BB creams, tanning products, face masks, moisturisers and many more! It takes the idea of Hollywood glamour (as many have done previously) but recreates the products at an affordable supermarket price without scrimping on the quality.
The moisturiser I picked up is contains natural ingredients like oat extracts and apricot oils to increase the skins natural radiance. I've usually used it after washing my face on a morning or going in the shower, but I did mix a small amount of my Laura Mercier foundation this morning with this before I went to the gym, and I was so impressed!
The formula glides on the skin, however do be warned that it is possible to use too much of this with the little shimmery particles! If you are looking for a moisturiser to solve dry skin problems then I wouldn't choose this, but if you are looking for something light to wear under/over your foundation to mimic a dewy model like look, then this is it!
